No we weren't, it was 1-0 at HT v Wigan. The Coventry game was won by HT, thats the object of the day, win the tie. I'm not sure why you think Coventry should have capitulated 2nd half, its credit to them they didn't. I don't understand your expectancy to smash every lower league team for 90 minutes out of sight, its not necessary.

Are you sure that when we beat Wigan 9-1 it was 1-0 at half time? Against Coventry we were cruising and then the goals dried up,that's a concern to me. I don't expect to thrash every lower team out of sight but that was a damned good chance of doing so.

"Spurcat's suggested as much since before Inglethorpe even let, RDBD."

With the suggestion that it may be a done deal (from Pritchards' and the Poool side) ,
I was hoping to hear otherwise (is Pritchard in a Holtby situation re his current contract etc) .

I'm not really sure what we would have gained from busting a gut to get more goals against Coventry? IMO there are other areas more concerning, just scoring goals at home in general isn't a free flowing process at the moment so I'll take the 3 against Cov.

Heck, shutting up shop for 45 minutes and keeping a clean sheet is good enough for me - the FA Cup isn't decided on goal difference, after all, and it will give confidence to the defence that is just as important.
