just not as good as Lonergan

He makes easy saves look spectacular but isn't very good at the basics

I expect Harry to send his scouts over to Elland Road soon then when they obviously realise Kasper isnt as good as Lonergan :)

With the money you will get for him you will replace him with a better keeper!

    Lonergan > Kasper

    Leeds > Leicester

    Grayson > Pearson

Elland Road > Stade De Crisp

    Me > Thee

    Spending £0 > Spending £10,000,000

Obviously you're entitled to your own opinions, but why do you find it so hard to accept that we've seen Kasper for a full season and Lonners for the best part of this one so far? My assessment of Kasper is that he'll look like the best 'keeper in the world one minute, and then the next make a stupid avoidable mistake to concede a goal then proceed to blame whichever defender is nearest then kick the ball as far as he can. Lonners is unfussy, does all of the basics very well, never makes a mistake and while he is a great shot stopper he will never make a save look harder than it is. I'm not saying he hasn't been very good, because this season he clearly has, but the number of times I've seen Kasper make an "amazing save" where he dived spectacularly for a ball he could have caught or stepped on is unbelievable. One of the reasons he gets so much attention is, bar the Cardiff debacle last season, he always plays well in big games on TV eg. Arsenal away. We think Lonners is better, you think Kasper is, it's time you stopped refusing to acknowledge our opinions AKCJ, it makes you look like even more of a tit.

There must be something to be said if Spurs are wanting to scout Kasper. We have money - that much is well documented - so Spurs will know that money is not our concern. We dont need to sell.

So Lonergan is better than Kasper: why havent EPL teams made there interest known? Master Bates' desire to sell anything with 2 legs is also well documented.

So if Lonergan is better than Kasper and if Lonergan is more likely to be sold to the EPL - then why hasnt that interest occured?

Not a rant/WUM - just trying to apply a bit of logic to the debate

It doesn't say the scouts rated him, they just went to check him out. They probably returned to Spurs and reported don't believe the hype!

Next stop Elland Road to see a decent goalkeeper.

A mate of mine who's a Spurs fan and is normally on the money, thinks they're going to bid for Tim Krul.

Actually at the same time we first showed an interest he was training with Everton, but (and this shows how ****ty a position they're in) they couldn't afford the transfer fee.

We would want at least 5M for Kasper

Tim Krul has been the stand out keeper in the prem this season

However much you would have paid, I can't see selling Kasper for £1.2m and getting Lonners for £100k as anything other than fantastic business.

    Yeah, exactly.

We only paid 1.2m for a future eurpoean standard goalkeeper.

If he's going to be sold then its only going to be for about 5m, which makes me sad as he'll be worth triple that in 3/4 years.

Every prem club has a few scouts, there would be scouts from some club at every championship game.If its taken till now for a prem club to bother with him,he must be playing poor.Everton bid for Lonergan, but he chose first team football at Leeds.Kasper has no loyalty to Leicester,as you know he begged Leeds not to send him there.so if spurs want a 3rd team keeper expect him to force the sale through.will sell you Rachubka for 3mill in jan.<ok>

I wouldn't blame him for wanting to leave for Spurs. Why wouldn't he?

He's a class act and has been immense and without him I don't think we'd even be top half.

P.S. Grayson forced the sale of Kasper. He didn't want to leave and he even made a video on twitter saying so to Leeds fans.

I don't know why Leeds fans can't get their head around the fact that Kasper has been incredible for us.

Also, Everton are totally skint so to bid for an unwanted goalkeeper from a club already relegated is clever business.
