Great to see Huw Jenkins and our board sticking out for the £25 Million for Bony, that should put plenty of these London clubs back in their little boxes, I see us keeping him now, and with the increase in front line fire power, I think we are in for a great season under Garry Monk. Ben Davies looks to be a done deal, so Taylor will be happy to get his first team place back, he should be well charged to start this season. Siggy could well be in the frame for a return too, hope it happens as I rate Siggy highly, and he was wasted at Spurs warming the bench, things are shaping up very nicely.......................
Arsenal will pay 25 millionfor Bony, they are being very guiet on the matter of late . 10 million for Davies to the Spurs , Sig wont be at Swansea and Vorm will be on the market and wont go less than 8 million . 43 million for players that cost less than 15 million . Couple of nice 2 million or so signings , especially Emnes ....Fab will have a hard time dislodging Tremmel if Vorm goes . Can only guess what Michu goes for . . Bony , Davies , Vorm and Michu gone ... whats left ..... Lots , with Gomis given planty of time up front , Emnes waiting in the wings biting at the bit Tremmel Rangel , Chico , Williams , Taylor Dyer , Shelvey , Britton , Poz, Routledge Gomis Hoping Monk and Poz make up . This before we sign anyone , if they can be led like they were in the past low 40 points shouldn't be a problem .
Not so sure roof, apparently wegner is sniffing around eto, him being free, I suspect will appeal massively to him.you know how tight he can be sanctioning large transfers.but if bony has a good 2nd season, next summers transfer window will be a different proposition
Bony and Wenger will line up like two new planets soon , if not we might actually keep him .. pretty nice alternative .My excitment is Emnes's excitment at being a Swan . Could be a Legend in the making no matter which division we play . Long in the making but should be a true Swan .
I know some will disagree, but if Davies goes we need to sign a left back. I dont mind taylor but he is prone to to many mistakes IMO. I also think we need a right back, Rangel isnt getting any younger and I simply dont rate Tiendalli.
Personally, I wouldn't sell Ben. He has a long term contract and I don't believe that we are in urgent need of cash - so why sell?
Tailor has been quoted as saying if Davies stays then im off.....Well tailor Bye Bye, If you think you should be playing first team football all the time then we don't want you. He is acting like a spoilt brat and should work hard and fight for his place and not expect a better player should leave to make way for him.
Don't quite understand - how can "Huw stick out for £25M for Bony"? I read somewhere he had a buyout clause of £19M (I think). I'd have thought he'd have to be allowed to go if that figure was offered by someone, and the club couldn't stop him if he personally wanted the move.
I thought that Taylor before his injury was a better fullback than Ben and hopefully with regular first team football will regain that form. He is quicker than Ben for starters. Kingsley, who is a left back, was obviously signed to develop and act as back up. Fabianski is a good goalkeeper who is prone to the odd mistake but so was Vorm last season.
Vorm was not a shadow of himself last season but his injury might have contributed to that with the thought of the World cup coming up as well that he did not want to put himself at risk losing his place with Holland, I think we will see a much better vorm this season assuming he is still with us...
