Everyone bar 3 players scored 7 points. Not a great deal of change to the league. Next we have PL new boys who have a glorious past. They have spent a lot of money in this window. Could be a difficult game.

They are actually based in Nottinghamshire (West Bridgford) and County are in the City so I always call them Notts Forest. It certainly winds them up.

I've been up here for over 20 years and have a certain trepidation about this game. My son and I are always walking around in our Spurs attire and IF we lose I might have to go into hibernation for a few months...

I always think Notts. Isn't Nottinghamshire abbreviated to Notts.? So it should be the other way round then Nottm County and Notts Forest. What's wrong with them. <laugh> What did Clough call them?

I think Notts County is the right abbreviation as it is clearly short for Nottinghamshire County. Forest play at the City Ground, which was indeed inside Nottingham City when it was built in the 19th century, but boundary changes now leave it outside the current City of Nottingham. Much like our stadium isn't actually in Tottenham.....

I might be wrong on the last point....I thought it was in Edmonton....
 
Nottingham Forest 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur. Lingard for them, Kane and Kulusevski for us.
