HAIG! well put, not a great fan of these type of threads...... (untill my names mentioned ha ha) but in all honesty I don't think there should be any posters that are viewed any higher then another, as all the different styles and views are what make a forum (even the WUMS).... i noticed a couple of names weren't mentioned, such as BajanSpur & Sidney Fiddler, two posters that offer very different views, but i'm sure all of us are aware what different posters bring to the board.

<cracker> Merry Christmas to all.....:afro: LOL

    Ahem! cough cough!!
    Not seen mine:emoticon-0101-sadsm
But seriously, have to agree with what everyone else has said (HIAG) 6061,OS and the mods special mentions.
It takes all types to make a successful forum and we have that in spades.
Finish up Friday and off till the 7th Jan so will probably post more often now I don't have to get up at 6am for work:1980_boogie_down:
So all you Yids and Yidesses and others a very merry Spursmas and a happy new year<cracker><hug><cheers>

I probably won't post much from Xmas to New Years so you lucky people have only got me bothering you for just a few more days :D

I showed my mentions to my 15 yr old daughter ... she responded by saying that board must filled with sad ol gits like me!

I then showed her the tickets for the spurs match v coventry that I got for my birthday .... when she saw her name on one of them she commented on what a great dynamic board filled with insightful people this is <laugh>

Have a great xmas and new year everyone

    Oh and by the way for what it's worth;

THFC61 for his match threads...fantastic every week
SPURF and SPURSDISCIPLE for their prediction leagues
HIAG for having the talent to turn EVERY subject into a dig at Liverpool

I do enjoy the banter and debate on here .... miles better than the old BBC 606 site...

Oh and cheers to the Mods....this is a very friendly board and I think there modding helps with it

good stuff...its hard to pick out a favourite as everyone seems to bring something to the table.

for me,respect towards everyone is measured by the single fact that having not met any of you. I still back down from being a total twat which is so easy over the net. Sometimes you read some comments and they cant be bettered. Sometimes i have a certain issue or need to know a certain thing connected to Spurs and i know who to ask. our resident posters from other teams also get a mention for proving the fact that we all love football and that alone can make us have banter and debate.

ive been guilty of going to bed thinking about something that has happened on the board that day and thinking of a reply <laugh>

its a great board...and forum...pat yaself's on your backs lads.

    - Me, for keeping you all on your toes

    - HIAG, for supplying an endless stream of foot in mouth moments, outrageous claims and failed predictions.

    - totsfan, for trying to do the same and falling just a little bit short

    :emoticon-0172-mooni

Merrry Christmas to you all and all the very best to you and yours <cracker>

So Totsfan fails to give foot in mouth moments? Is that your way of saying he is usually right? Well spotted.

I'm not going to single out anyone on here, for the same reasons that others have mentioned.
The diversity's probably the most engaging thing about the board, for me, as we seem to have a great mix, from the most grizzled of pessimistic veterans to the obscenely optimistic newbies.
The varied experiences and locations also add some interesting perspectives, be they from Spain, Scotland, Australia or America (or anywhere I might've missed).

I would like to thank the vast majority of you for making things very easy for me, Spurf and YV, though. <ok>
There are many days when we simply don't have to do anything as moderators and can enjoy the board as normal (relatively!) posters, which is what we're all really here for.
We appreciate your appreciation, but being part of a reasonable bunch of people (for the most part...) makes it pretty pain free. <applause>

For those that aren't going to be around, have a Happy Saturnalia and enjoy the new year that the Mayans probably didn't predict that we wouldn't see. <diva>

As I was a virgin before I joined the board , I was surprised how gentlemanly the Spurs board is overall, but many of the posters are a little conservative for
my taste but fine balanced fellows with interesting points of view. More Norman Tebbit than Che Guevara.
I would like to thank the moderators for their dedication and drive in making it such a good place to post.
It is hard for me to be very active as some are, this is down for the usual reasons , young family etc.
Any way have a wonderful Christmas .
