Updated after the 12th game - a 6-3 win over Birmingham City... please log in to view this image ...Harry Kane has been a very busy boy! 8 goals from 419 minutes played gives him an average strike-rate of a goal for every 53 minutes he was on the pitch.
He has been very impressive during his pre-season has Kane. I'll be amazed if we don't use the likes of him and Livermore regularly in the cups etc.
Slightly worried about our central defence...again. Only fit centre-backs are Dawson, Kaboul, Bassong - at the beginning of the season it's not a great start. Starting to think we should have kept one of Caulker or Khumalo once we knew Woody was leaving...
This from Pysioroom: S Pienaar Gilmores Groin 24th Sep 11 R Van Der Vaart Ankle/Foot Injury 13th Aug 11 S Ranieri Knee Injury no return date W Gallas Calf Strain no return date J Jenas Thigh Muscle Strain no return date B Khumalo Ankle/Foot Injury no return date So apparently King is fine but just doesn't do 'match sharpness' or 'fitness' of preseason, just gets on with it in the matches. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php Gallas quite close to return I think.
Physioroom is a little inaccurate at times, but I'm inclined to think that they're right about Gallas. I can understand King being left out of the pre-seasons, but I think that Gallas would be playing if fit. Maybe the Everton postponement isn't so bad, after all!
Kane looks a great prospect. Nothing on his brother though......The Undertaker. Wrestling joke for you there x
