I didn't think that Reguilon was registered for the Premier League, but I've just checked and he is.I think we more or less have that with the exception of LB. There are cases to say the quality of the depth isn’t great in some areas but I’m pretty sure we have two players for every other position, to be honest Reguilon is still at the club too so it’s not like we literally don’t have a LB, we just choose not to play him.
I think the style of football is so reliant on sprints that it’s knocking out so many players.
Rather silly to never use him, in that case.
Not having the right squad balance to be able to register him and Spence in Europe was awful planning, though.
The homegrown and club-trained failures were exceptionally short-sighted.
I agree about Postecoglou's style of play being very demanding.
Combining that with the extra games is a lot to ask for many of our players.
I don't think that the stop-start nature that's settled into the league is helping, either.
VAR, the extra-time that comes with it and the influx of faked injuries has made things very choppy.
