Good. Gazza has done brilliantly so far.

Yeah I know it sounds harsh but a small part of me was quite happy. Not in the sense I want to see Hugo inured but more to the point that it means Gazza keeps his place which he’s thoroughly deserved. Easily been the better keeper this season yet if Hugo returned tomorrow he’d have 100% played against Sheffield.

Yep. He'll be straight back in the team the moment he can catch a ball.

Lamela will miss the Wet Spam through the 'slight' hamstring injury he sustained in training oooh, 4 weeks ago now?

I'm afraid this very much looks like his annual 'see you in March' hibernation.

Reactions: Spurlock
At least none of our players have a niggling hamstring injury compounded by their lower back deciding the attached hip actually goes somewhere else, and now the calf muscle is also joining in on the fun

Me, on the other hand...

I'm sure the Twitter/Reddit twats cheering when Winks went off are happy

Also, one more for the list...

Me: disc deciding to vacation in a nerve bundle, which is making my sciatic nerve really irritable

Jose Mourinho has confirmed Erik Lamela will be out for two months with a hamstring problem

Which will probably end up being three or four months.

Real shame, great player when fit but we've gotta bin him in the summer. Spends more time in the treatment room than he does on the pitch for us.

Hopefully we can recall Clarke in January.

Davies travelling to Aspetar also doesn't sound great, can't see him returning any time soon when we're sending players out there for treatment.

Also means more Danny Rose (when Jan needs a rest), I know RCL will be ecstatic.
