Who's the head case? So, you think Poch is going for the full set of body parts?
Apparently we've had 37 injuries this season. Sounds like a lot, but that doesn't really mean anything.
Six months out? One injury. Sprained wrist and left out of one game? One injury.
Fairly silly stat, really.
X injuries spread across a squad of N players who have been in a
starting XI. So you are probably talking X = 37, N = 25.
If N is a small(er than PL average) number, then you get worried.
Similarly for attackers who on average score/assist a goal every G games.
If they are out for TG games, then on average you lose TG / G
productive outputs (which could be the difference between W/D/L in a game) .
WTF!!!
My head hurts. Is that an injury?
A job in data analytics does not beckon to you.![]()
That's the problem with the X and N, though. There's no G.X injuries spread across a squad of N players who have been in a
starting XI. So you are probably talking X = 37, N = 25.

Very true RDBD. Failed A Level maths twice about 47 years ago. Then became a banker. Spelled with a B.
To be fair, Dembele was getting to that level for the past couple of years...That's the problem with the X and N, though. There's no G.
All X's are treated as the same thing, which simply isn't the case. It could be 37 injuries to one player!![]()
Not THE "Banker" ??![]()
