    This might sound a bit random but I go to sixth form with a lot of tottenham fans and we got talking about who was better in each team. Being a typical spurs fan, he disregarded every suggested newcastle player (Jose, Tiote, Harper) and chose every spurs player for his xi, with 'maybe barton on the bench'.
    Is it just me being a deluded geordie or what?

    *Couldn't decide, Lennon is probably a better right mid but Barton is too good of a cm to be left out and he's been quality on the right this season

    I had this with my mate at college, him being a Liverpool fan he surprisingly chose most of our players over his <laugh> The only ones from Liverpool he chose was Suarez, Gerrard, Reina and Carragher. Pleasant surprise.

    Not sure who would be in there from spurs but I think Jose, Tiote, Ben Arfa would be in there for us, and maybe Barton and Colo (and Harper)?

    Bench; Defoe, Lennon, Nolan, Ben Arfa, King, STaylor, Gomes

    Chose Pav for height, for someone to get on the end of Barton & Joses crosses. Was tougher than I thought it would be.

    Crouch over Dafoe because Barton is the perfect midfield to link up with target men, that has been proven with Carroll, the best target man in the PL.
