Spurs Linked With Brazil U21 International

    Tottenham are in contact with Sao Paulo for midfielder Casemiro. The Brazil U21 international is expected to be sold by Sao Paulo before the summer transfer deadline falls.



    Inter Milan have been linked with a €14 million offer for Casemiro, but Globoesporte says Sao Paulo have only been contacted by Napoli and Spurs about the midfielder. Casemiro has declared he is ready to move to Europe - and has no preference over which league he will join.

    On paper he looks like a younger, more skillful Palacios.

    It's just we need to sell the older, less skillful Casemiro first...

    Brazil's transfer window is bloody confusing. At the moment it is 'semi-closed'. Brazilian clubs can buy 'domestically' (they can basically all year round), but not from abroad. They can however sell abroad whenever the 'European' (standard 1st Jan to 31st Jan - same with summer) window is open.
