With Cisse back for Saturday's crucial game what formation will MH choose? The 4-4-2 showed promise with Zamora and Cisse striking up the makings of a decent partnership but Spurs with pace to burn through their team would love the space this would provide in midfield and the 4-2-3-1 we played against Arsenal was very effective. This is a must-win game and we have to get it right from the off, what do you think the line-up will be? I'll go for this: -------------Kenny------------- Onuoha--Ferdinand--Hill--Taiwo ---------Barton--Diakite-------- ----Mackie--Taarabt--Cisse---- ------------Zamora-----------
That's the right team for me without a doubt, if they are all fit. Col put the same one up on another thread!
Bang on the money and Barton and Diakite have to stop Parker and Modric You also need to keep Bale in his box
Not ideal but I think pretty much our best option. I'd swap Adel and Cisse around to give Cisse more of a direct roll and I know I this seems strange to say but I'd rather have Adel covering the left than Cisse when we don't have the ball.
That will be the line-up bar an injury to any of them. Call it what you'd like, 442, 4231, 451, 4321, 41212, 4222, 4411 etc.
It's a double diamond! Works wonders.......an advertising slogan for all those people who are older than I am. No-one out there knows what I am talking about do they?
A double diamond will really confuse Spurs! I suppose its a 1 -4 - 4 - 1 formation! But then unfortunately yes I know the beer, didn't it get you double drunk!! Can you still get it?
I've got two huge ceramic ashtrays big enough to take a bath in, one DD and the other Whitbread, Whitbread Trophy Bitter....Go on, you finish itCan't remember how they came into my posession, but they do look nice when complemented by my Butlins cutleryProbably souvenirs....
Kenny Diakite Cisse, Mackie, Zamora, Smith, DJ, HH, Betty, Buz, & Adel. AAAAATTTTTTAAAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will play an attacking 1 up front with Cisse to come on and go 442 if we are losing with 30-40 mins left.
Unfortunately not. But I'm over for the Stoke game, tickets arrived on Friday I will be taking my 7-year old son with me for the first time, blood him a QPR supporter for life
Fair dues Norway, you are a true fan. I have a 7 year old son too but my wife won't trust me to take him to a game. She is convinced that I will lose him in the big city. I am over for the Chelsea game, not in the away section though so will have to sit on my hands.
Good trip! Took my kids by that age - sons thought it was brilliant, my daugher fell in love with the Cat and we beat Coventry 4-0! The Club shop told me my ticket for Spurs was loaded onto my membership card and no paper ticket was needed - hope she wasn't joking!!
Hopefully I'll keep him safe and he has the time of his life. Carefull at the Bridge as it's highly likely you will get something to cheer about It was a pleasure meating up with you at the Liverpool game, hopefully our paths will cross again in the not to distant future. The Spurs game will be great, late Saturday kick off, lucky you Hope for the same response from my boy too. You should be ok with your membership card, that's the way it works in these modern times Though I got mine as paper tickets even though I have a membership card, probably because of my kids ticket.
If we could replicate this one you're in for a treat Oslo
