    Far right group apparently.

First Seville, then Rome and now Lyon. Oh Dear.

Lyon not responsible but I wonder what sanctions can be made if any.

Never nice to hear, no one should be subject to violence at football. their chants can't help things though tbh.

Well thankfully no serious incidents have been reported this time. What happened to that guy last time in Rome was just nasty, but it wasn't Lazio fans responsible then and it isn't Lyon fans responsible now. A Spurs fan naively posted details of there whereabouts for other Spurs fans but the message was possibly intercepted by far right groups.

But I agree the chanting can't have helped matters though.

It doesn't make a difference whether its the Spuds or anyone else! If this had happeed at the Bridge we would have paid a very heavy price, so as far as I'm concerned Lyon should be hung, drawn and quartered!

Didn't we have this with PSG a few years back? Chelsea and PSG fans fighting etc... We didn't exactly cower away at the back of the pub like the Spurs fans did!

Reports saying it wasn't Lyon fans..

Spurs used to (not so sure now) have a very naughty firm indeed. These chaps that thought it would be a good idea to attack then may have picked the wrong group. The Yid Army can be very nasty indeed and if this sort of thing carries on they may well face a very nasty backlash from a very fiercesome and angry group of hooligans. It's no surprise that Chelsea fans aren't often subject to this sort of violence abroad as we (rightly or wrongly) have a reputation that precedes us. Not saying it's right or something to be encouraged but it's still there. Some of you on here may well even have been headhunters. England showing why it is far more suitable to host major sporting events than anywhere else in the world due to its level of advanced crowd control and security.

Sad to hear a group of Tottenham fans were attacked last night by Lyon neanderthals. I don't know if Chelsea or Arsenal fans are subjected to that kind of behaviour, I haven't heard, so one can only assume it happened because of their so-called "semetic" connections. Having said that, we know that Manchester United and Liverpool fans have been assaulted on their travels, primarily in Italy. It is sickening!! Good luck in the Europa League - hope you meet a German club en route or in the final itself!!

They weren't Lyon fans, people need to read the facts.

It wasn't Lazio fans in Rome and it wasn't Lyon fans in Lyon

Both Lazio and Roma Ultras were amongst those arrested.

The Sevilla game was disrupted by their police, bizarrely, not their fans. The Spanish club actually condemned them for their actions.

but you can bet the fans will get the blame District as its all to easy to see it as violence from one set of fans against another despite the clear social or political motivation behind it.
