Redknapp wants to try and buy a successful team instead of doing some coaching and development. I am shocked!!

Cannot understand why people rate that muppet, his only approach is to buy expensive proven talent and bankrupt whichever club he is managing in the process.

I live in fear that "old melty face" ever manages the Toon!

As for Spurs bargains ... Bassong and Kranjcar sound good to me. Pav if he was cheap enough ... but nobody else springs to mind.

I'm sure he once stated to the press he turned the offer down and the club re-iterated that it had never been offered.

Olivier Bernard says he loved Newcastle and the only reason he left was to secure a World Cup place for himself. Gutierrez was gonna do exactly the same thing if he had been told he had to be playing top level football...

I thought that he had agreed to take over from Allardyce, but said that he wanted to "sleep on it" and the next day changed his mind. Wasn't part of the deal that Ashley would let him use his own jet/helicopter to commute to Newcastle so that he could still live in Sandbanks?

    Speaking of Sandbanks.

I'll be down your neck of the woods next month.

Taking miniOT to Peppa Pig World and going to fit a few days in Bournemouth as well for the beach.

    That's the place.

I'll also take the family out to Wimborne and Corfe Mullen and show them where I lived for the first 9 months when we moved back to Blighty.
