Tottenham are returning to the High Court as they continue in their attempt to secure a judicial review of the decision to make West Ham the preferred new tenants of the Olympic Stadium.

Spurs have not backed down since last week's decision to reject bids from them and Leyton Orient to have the decision reviewed. Judge Mr Justice Davis had warned against a knee-jerk appeal at the time.

The club will now be allowed to make their case in an oral hearing at the High Court.

A statement on the Tottenham website said: "The club has applied to the High Court to renew its application for permission to bring a claim against the London Borough of Newham and the Olympic Park Legacy Company, the Mayor of London and Government Ministers for judicial review of their decisions underlying the bid process for the conversion of the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Games.

"Under this process the club now has the opportunity to present its case at an oral hearing at the High Court."

West Ham were awarded the stadium by the Olympic Park Legacy Company in February. Their willingness to retain the athletics track at the stadium was considered to be a key factor.

Is it really that difficult to check whether there's already an article on this?
