So in the end we played ok and got beat by VAR.

VAR comes in and changes a decision from right to wrong. Brilliant use of tech!

Can't understand how Chelsea had access to a shot in line with play but VAR was ahead of play to the point you couldn't see across the line properly??? What a farce.

Lets hope we can put this right at the Bridge but it'll be very tough. That's 3 games in a row we've lost against that lot now.

Two 2nd halfs in the past couple of days where Spurs just gave up in CM
and got overrun. One got punished (Wolves) . The other (yesterday) got an escape.

As I said on the Spurs board, Sarri got his tactics spot on,
and I expect a repeat game in the 2nd leg.

We did play well, pressed them high and I was surprised how dominant we were.

Still got issues near the goal though. I like Hazard false 9 but if that happens we need runners from deep, Kante did it a couple of times but Barkley not at all. I thought Barkley was horrendous all game, offered nothing at all besides a few sidewards passes.

We’re crying out for a striker, their defence didn’t even have anyone to mark last night and as soon as Hazard got near the box he got whacked to the floor.

Can definitely still go through but for the 2ng leg we’ll need a target up front to play off and cross the call into imo.

Something not quite right when Kante looks our most likely player to score<laugh><laugh>....

We were a bit stiff ,but again no goals when we should have had 3. It's' become our default performance. No doubt a striker is top priority, but so are some midfielders. Jorghino and Barkley are poor game after game. Short term, I'd lose Barkley ASAP, he's had chance after chance, and play RLC every game. Jorghino is slower than a wet week and without someone making forward runs , getting behind the opponents defence is becoming a rarity. Without Jorghino being able to run the show, our version of Sarri ball is too easy for teams to counter. Without planning properly for next season, bringing in ex Sarri players is not the answer either, that's going backwards.

We lack goalscoring wingers when pedro isnt playing either.

You look at the other top sides, its not just about a striker.

Rlc has a back injury and is out for a month so we will probably be seeing more of barkley. Time for sarri to change formation and go 4 2 3 1 i think but he obviously wont do that. Next best thing is to put hazard on the left and willian where kante is and kante on lcm.

Sadly RLC’s back injury, which has stopped him starting more games has got worse.

He’s been playing through pain when he should have been rested. Now he is out

Bollocks, didn't know that. Anyone think a big sod like Moses is worth a shot up front on the right??

Really? Look at his goals to minutes ratio. I have a pet slug called Trevor that surpasses all our strikers.

I'll raise your pet slug called Trevor, for my pet Prawn called Nigel. Far better prospect imo.
