Just heard from someone that was on Spurs aircraft flying back from their defeat to Valencia. He said it was not a happy aircraft. AVB was fuming at the performance and that there seemed to be plenty of unhappy people. Discord in the Camp it would appear. AVB's magic is working again.

Looking forward to some more points from them this season.

AVB and discord seem to be synonymous don't they? If we fans can see these things, it's a wonder the club bosses can't.

Anyway, you're right Sussex, another massive club likely to be heading south!

Are you sure it wasn't because AVB realised he was on a RyanAir flight and that GTW isn't London but actually means the plane is going to ditch in Greenland's tidal waters.

Can't wait until the lifeboats start charging him hidden airport tax - should be able to hear him scream on Neptune!

In all honesty though, if they can fall apart after a friendly match then they're one shock Carling (Capital???) Cup defeat away from implosion.

Tottenham won't have a bad season. They've got too much quality, but they'll be fractious and discontent and probably finish a disappointing (for them) 7th.

With zero games played, we have the momentum!!!!

I'm not so sure. Weren't they bottom when Harry arrived, after all the discontent with the Spanish bloke ? It wouldn't suprise me if they end up mid-table. Especially if they have a bad start. then the pressure will mount on AVB and I don't think he's got the man management skills to turn a bad start around. I remember his face during the bad run at the Scum, he looked like a rabbit in the headlights.

I think AVB man management skills are lacking, making a mess of this whole Modric thing

I just think hes a complete and utter bellend and useless man manager. Someone who can ruin a club with his arrogance.

Thats why I was gutted that the scum sacked him.

so a manager has reportedly reprimanded his players...where is the big deal in that?

man management does not mean you suck off your first team <doh>

if you could instill such an attitude into your club then you might not be trying to sign ****ers like Barton who listen to no one..and not be a yo yo club...<ok>

Reprimanded them for a friendly? Each to their own I suppose but I always think that pre-season is about getting a base level of fitness and building the team spirit rather than castigating one and all like naughty school kids.

We've already bought Barton and have had two promotions and no relegations in the past 10 years - I can only assume that your childhood yo-yo was broken?

In fairness, if all you've got to worry about is us starting a very moderate thread then I'm sure you'll be fine.

AVB will never have the respect of the Spuds team and that is why he is destined to fail from the start
To young to take on a big job in England i'm afraid

We'll see as the season progress's. I think that AVB is a walking disaster in terms of motivation and man management. But then again I know nothing.

He is. You are spot on. Sooner or later Spurs fans will find out.

You go through the long denial stage and make up excuses for him but further down the line comes the acceptance. I genuinely believe he will be a bigger disaster at Spurs than he ever was for us and the myth about certain Chelsea players being rebellious will soon be dispelled.

At Spurs if he fails he has nowhere to hide

Can't agree more. I genuinely believe he only took the job to spite Chelsea and prove a point. He hasn't stopped talking about us since joining them. If I were a Spud that would really p me off, I think it's disrespectful.

He should have earned his stripes in a big league and then if it worked out gone to a club like Spurs.

If AVB fails at Spurs now then no English club worth their salt would take him. He has to secure top 4 or he is potentially out the door by 2014

How can a club be yoyo if they haven't alternated divisions with regularity? That is like saying Bolton are a yoyo club.

It seems odd to criticise Barton when you are on the verge of signing Adebayor (a man who intentionally assaulted his own teammate and also ex-teammate) and currently have G*llas (I could be here all day) at your club.

Every club has its fair share of idiotic players

Don't thinks it's good for the game really. say what you want about spurs, but I enjoyed watching them play last season. Very entertaining under redknapp. At least they attacked teams, their game against man city towards the end of the season was up there with both of ours(against city), and that's saying something......
