With sun blazing in through the windows And snow and ice now far away, Spring does feel just round the corner With ten games to go until May And the spring to our next PL season Does also seem quite close at hand, A few more points here in this March month Will help keep us on track as planned Five should not seem too outrageous A win at home and then two draws, Would see us just three short of forty Which normally warrants applause And even just three points from those games Would take us up to thirty-five, Which would leave us perhaps one good win Away from the points to survive So although nothing yet is certain I think we have cause to believe, That Spring will lead into a Summer Where we won´t have that much to grieve And this year although we´ve been plodding At times, others have plodded more, Which leads me to think that the safe spot In May, won´t need that high a score. Naturally I can only speak for the fair land of Denmark, dave, but it´s absolutely gorgeous weather here today, and I couldn´t resist the temptation to burst into verse, with what seemed a suitable comparison. I think we´ll be well safe too
Aye, tis a beautiful day in London as well, I sit up on the 15t floor of the building next to Earls Court and the view today from my window is absolutely fabulous The garden seems to be dragging it's heels somewhat however, St.Davids' Day has been and gone and not a single sight of a daffodil yet - let alone a snowdrop, bluebell or crocus. Come on Mother Nature - let's be 'avin you!
Got lovely weather today, I'm hoping this means I can put away my coat for good now and eventually my thinner jacket! Although going to matches when it is freezing is to be expected for a lot of the season I love it when the sun shines in Carrow Road!
not sure what is happening in your part of the world Munkey, but the snowdrops have been out for a week or more in my garden, but no sign of the Daffs as yet.. top effort RBF, at least 5 points in the rest of March methinks.
