If there was a reverse SPOTY, Steven Gerrard would win it hands down. Overwhelming favourite.

He has been catastrophic in impact. He

    1. Lost his club a trophy which they had 99% already won but gifted the goal that lost them that crucial point and put them in the back foot and let City in to snatch the title. That title would have been their first in more than 20 years.

    2. A few weeks later, gifted another goal to the opposition which kicked his own team out of the WC. The worst performance of an England for more than 50 years.

No other sports person has had such a negative impact in 2014.

No point really. Hes slip as he walked to collect the award and if he did finally make it, he would give it away anyway.

    Its how stevie rolls.

Yea, and if there was such an award. Eddie "the eagle" Edwards would be a very close close runner up. sort of sums up Stevie Me's contribution to football

    Can I vote for Moyes?

I know you guys don't like him for obvious reasons but if Ferguson had managed to get him as replacement for Keane you would have won even more than you did over the last 10 years or so.

Apparently the loser wants time to think about his England career. What is there to think about? He has f**ked it all big time, captained over the worst performance of an England team in a World Cup and gifted by his mistake a goal which led to England being booted out of the tournament. What other calamity does he need? the reality is that he was not good enough for England. His play may have suited the RS and he was a big fish in a small pond there.

FFS do us a favour. Just f**k off now. <ok>
