Sports dinner with legendary Toon midfielders

This is just a heads up for anyone who may be interested.

Midfielder meeting
The latest NSPCC fundraising dinner to be staged on Tyneside later this month gathers together a gaggle of Newcastle United midfielders past & present.

Confirmed attendees so far are: Kevin Nolan, Joey Barton, Nobby Solano, Liam O'Brien, Tony Green, Keith Gillespie,
Paul Bracewell, Tommy Cassidy and Mick Martin.

The Black and White Reunion V take place at The Lancastrian Suite, Lancaster Road in Gateshead on Tuesday May 17th. Tickets are on sale now and cost £35, which includes a two course meals (VIPs @ £65).

Ringing the number today and their are still over a hundred tickets left including VIP tickets.
I think it will be a brilliant night and It's not very often you would get the chance to meet any of these never mind all of them in the same night.

 

Been advertised for a while now. The fact that you can still get tickets show's how little cash is about.

 

Is it a special dress code?

That's ok then, it still fits. My dinner suit would be a bit of a tight fit and I wouldn't want to get a new one for a one off thing. I'll probably pop along to it.

 

I think a shirt and tie is required AB
it does seem quite pricey and the drinks may also be. I am hoping to get a few mates together and go though it should be a cracking night

Had this event in mind when I spoke about us having a get together the other day. Thought we'd be able to have dinner and a drink or two and be entertained by some of the guys at the same time. Couldn't get any satisfaction with the person I first spoke to who transferred the call to someone else and I was on hold for ages before hanging up. If anybody is still interested I could try again.

Pity you hadn't managed to get us all sorted out CBP, it would have been nice to all get together.

 

Sorry AB I didn't think anyone would of been interested in going together with people from here but there are still tickets available if you and some others want to go.
The best time to ring is between 4-5 as thats when the main lad is in the office. It also seems that if you go to the office between 9-11 you will be able to catch him. Thats the collection time I have on Thursday

 

I entered the competition to win tickets but they are too much to buy with season ticket renewals (which I missed the deadline so I have to wait until it goes on public sale), away games and driving lessons coming out of my pocket. Would be a cracking night though.

 

Not your fault BP, you weren't to know. It would have been good though if we'd all managed to go together.
