Saw this in the Daily Mail so what’s yours?? sporting bucket list We all have a bucket list of sporting events we would most love to attend. this was Oliver holts: 1. A cricket match with a capacity crowd at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. 2. A Superclasico between Boca Juniors and River Plate at La Bombonera. 3. A match at the US Open tennis at Flushing Meadows. 4. Cairo derby between Al Ahly and Zamalek. 5. Demolition derby at the Hopkinton State Fair, New Hampshire. This is mine! Tho it might change…. No particular order Kentucky Derby the Masters Super Bowl champions league final with City winning it lions tour to New Zealand
A day on one of the top category climbs in the Tour de France. A baseball match at Camden Yards (Baltimore Orioles) A big match at the Maracana.
Mine was 1. City to reach the old First Division, ticked. 2. See City play at Wembley, ticked. 3. See City in an FA Cup Final, ticked. 4. See City play a competitive game in Europe, ticked. 5. See a City player hold aloft a trophy at Wembley, ticked. So what's left? Maybe see England away in a Test match. ( with a Hull City flag) and maybe see a player stiil playing for City make his debut for England.
1 England win the world cup( better do it reasonably quickly) 2. See city win at Anfield 3. Do Like the idea of the Boca jnr / river plate Derby. 4. See city win a major trophy 5. And yeah a Lions Tour.
Boca Juniors... Seen em Brought about a thousand which was impressive... Ironically Barca played south American style more than Boca
Lions tour to New Zealand which is about 8 years away so enough time to save for it, just hope I’m still about to enjoy it.
Ignoring the obvious City winning everything & if it’s just events rather than specific results then ... Super Bowl at Green Bay. Lions tour of New Zealand Ryder Cup at Cypress Point. Ringside at a Undisputed Heavyweight World Title bout in Vegas X Games in Aspen.
Did you tick off our Tour De France (in Yorkshire) staying at Black Sheep brewery*... Technically* in a field, in a tent (we should have practiced putting it up first) though we spent as much time as possible the night before supporting the local breweries...
6 isn’t it? 2029? It’s on a few lists so maybe a Not 606 trip. Chazz will collect like a long term diddlum
Not City related: A full Winter Olympics in person. Big European football derbies. Any. Professional surfing in Hawaii. Winter X Games. Lions tour. Centre court final at Wimbledon (No idea why) Mountain stages of the TDF
You’re right, it is 2029. Must have been a couple of years ago I first started looking at going. The good news is that I’ve probably got more chances of living till then as well.
daytona 500 indianapolis 500 world cup final champions league final real madrid v barcelona in any competitive match
I only had one desire and that was to play on the hallowed turf at Boothferry park. I did that, so my dream was fulfilled.
