Sponsor named

Offer them two peppercorns to take over the lease next year!
If I am reading that right Medway council are going to maintain the pitches.
How are they doing that at zero cost,

Something stinks.... not sure what
Get the local paper or better still private eye involved.....
The letters are apparently in the public domain without your FOI so they can be published
Chippy - talking about 'stink ' - I bet that my A.R.S.E. doesn't stink as much as the prospect of Medway Council Priestfield Stadium

.... could be worse - it might have been Medway Council Recreation And Paul Scally stadium ( Medway C.R.A.P S. Stadium )

chippy - actually Scally has stated that GFC will be helping to improve the standard of the pitches ( obviously at the Club expense - and probably by not playing football on them ).
As I have said, I am happy for the Club to 'help' the local community - but any deal for a proper sponsor should involve money coming in to the Club.

It's a pity that I quite like the new kit - because for as long as Scally has been at the Club, I have always bought one ( or three ), for me and my sons each time a new shirt has been available.
If Scally can't be bothered to attract a proper sponsor - then he obviously doesn't need (more ) of my money - so I shan't bother nest season - I shall savour the privilage of paying for my 2 year season ticket - whilst others will get freebies - again

I would trade any of our last six owners for yours. (Leeds).
Only got involved because I like to keep tabs on BRB as he does on me.
In my time I have responded to FOIs countless times and know the intention was to force open disclosures but public bodies use standard tactics to frustrate the process.
I used to do the same myself. In this case they haven’t directly answered the specifics really...

Still at least they know they are being watched. The minutes of any council meeting where this would have been discussed should be online even if redacted.
Might be worth a read..

So looking at the above map, the proposed new stadium (circled in red) is referred to as Mill Hill. Directly across the main road (A289) is the training ground, the small area between Yoko Way and Grange Road...have i got this right? I believe this area is referred to as the Northern Plateau (Beechings Cross) for which we pay rent and will continue to do so - The land which is part of the sponsorship deal for one year is referred to as Southern Plateau (Beechings Cross) and is the much larger piece of land, quite green in the map, sandwiched between Cornwallis Field for want of actual name (less green) and our current training facility, have i got this right?

The constructive discussion (schedule 15) refers to Beechings Cross - I hasten to add there is no mention of Mill Hill in the schedule or sponsorship deal that I have seen.

From what I've read this is a one year agreement. If i was to put a figure on it for sake of doing so, I would estimate the non financial deal has seen us minus £125k. However, this excludes any benefit we gain from such an agreement. Which raises another question, why actually do we want this additional piece of land, was our current land not big enough?

Now what is the cost to the fans, because IF the deal is only one year and you purchase the new shirt for the forthcoming season....you know where i'm going with this!....
