http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-ribs-refuses-return-ball-cup-semi-final.html The ball girl is heir to millions. The new footage clears Hazard too http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...otage-supports-Belgian-claim-kicked-ball.html
'Hazard's only crime is he hasn't kicked him hard enough' - Joey Barton Couldn't agree more! Swansea should sack him for bringing the club into disrepute on live television through blatent cheating...and for those who disagree, this is the Ballboy's tweet before the match: "Posting on Twitter before the game, the teenager wrote: ‘The king of all ballboys is back making his final appearance #needed #for #timewasting.'"
So this kids been to Vegas and Dubai and hes flown first class so its ok now? Oh lets not forget he drinks Magners which is a crime in itself. Chances are he acts like his heros, the high paid footballers of the world. Flashing his (dads ) cash around and all that.
And? You do know in almost every cup tie that involves an underdog has the underdogs fans, players, tea ladies and more claiming they will do whatever it takes to try and win. In the past some clubs purposefully let their pitch deteriorate to gain an edge for example. And sorry but anyone who agrees with Joey barton needs to have a word with themselves.
Hardly - he shouldn't be anywhere near there - whatever the ballboy was doing. The clue is in the names - ballboys retrieve balls; footballers play football.
except football wasn't being played due to the ballboy not doing his job? every player goes to retrieve the ball when time is running out and usually the ballboy gives it straight away.
But the ball boy wasn't retrieving the ball was he? He was slowly making his way over and when Hazard approaches yeah there is a shove but he should give the ball back. As you say it's his job. Instead he rolls around on it and doesn't move even when Hazard tries to get him off the ball! They were all doing it. We are hardly just gunna let them continuously time waste when we want to get back into the tie are we!?
We will never know how quickly the ballboy would have given the ball back to the Swansea goalkeeper because Hazard thought it was more important to interfere than to get into the right place on the field. As I said he should never had chased after the ball at all. The ref will add time on if there is any need.
If that is the case then every time the ball goes out then the clock should stop and restart when it's back in play. Apparently in additional time the ball was only in play for 90 seconds of the 6 minutes! The refs do nothing and Hazard was trying to speed it up because it was so clear that the ball boys were time wasting. On on the other end of the pitch next to the Chelsea fans practically rolls the ball to Tremmel as slowly as possible. It takes 10 seconds to go 5 yards! He then sits down. Smiles at the Chelsea fans and gives us the thumbs up! They were definitely told to time waste and it's cheating. End of.
Chelsea didn't get a single goal in over 190 minutes of football. How much of the spectators' time do CFC want to waste, and how much money do they want to cheat out of them by claiming it is entertainment?
Hazard was very foolish to get involved and kick out like he did- even if it was to get the ball. However the ball boy is a tool and his actions in holding the ball were very wrong. Let's be honest, he caused this himself. Hazard will probably get a 3 match ban as a result but I hope that's it and the FA don't clobber him with more.
And? That's not the point is it? I know we didn't score and I know we didn't deserve to go through... I'm just saying the ball boys were cheating. End of. Oh and in the first leg. I was entertained. We had loads of chances and played well. Just some silly mistakes let us down.
Why does it matter that his Dad takes him on nice holidays and gives him money for nice stuff? I feel embarrassed for the 3 "journalists" that wrote an article based on commenting on every picture he has on Twitter. It's no wonder the Daily Mail is full of so much ****, if even 3 writers can't produce a half decent read. Yeah he acted like a dick but this kind of **** attempt at character assassination is pathetic and really very harsh on a 17 year old.
stop the sour grapes chelsea fans, i expect better from you after your reputation in the past as bullies. He is a kid just like any other kid whether he comes from a rich family or not, hazard kicked the lad its as plain and as simple as that and fair play to the lad he could have pressed charges but he shook hazards hand and apologise and hazard apologized to him and as far as the lad is concerned the case was over even before the chelsea coach left the liberty. The media are making it worst that is bringing chelsea in disrepute not swansea....Its over and any chance of the red card being reversed then Swansea wont stand in the way......Hazard is the main perpetrator here as he should not have kicked the lad in any circumstances full stop.....The game was the main thing last night ad credit to us for keeping chelsea out and stopped them scoring in both games which is no main feat.....show some humility instead of moaning about the ball boy (rich kid ) or not, he is like every other ball boy in the country...
totally agree but his twitter comments didn't help. nothing to do with sour grapes? I've congratulated you on two occasions.
The guy had no option but to not press charges, he couldn't really press charges could he, he'd be made out for a right laughing stock and he'd get ripped apart in court, one look at his twatter and it's clear he's been breaking the law by gambling underage and drinking underage. That's 2 law breaches, he also said what he was going to do before the game, the tv camera clearly shows the ball hit him in the ribs hence no damage at all, unfortunately some mindless idiot chelsea fans ( we all have our idiots and i don't condone this in the slightest ) would also subject him to death threats for the rest of our life, his dad would face a length legal bill, instead of potentially talking about Swansea winning the league cup final the whole news would be continued updates on the court trial. It would be ridiculous, Swansea wouldn't want the hassle, We don't want the hassle and the ballguy wouldn't want the hassle. He really didn't have a choice to not press charges, it would be a) ridiculous and b ) stupid
