    That is a fantastic spine and the good thing is they are all fairly young, they could be at the club together for another 7 or 8 years.

    I feel like they could be the foundation of what we are going to do, a bit like Kompany, D Silva and Aguero at Man City.

    Not saying they are at that level yet or as good, but it feels similar.

    It’s certainly a good base to build the team around. We have a mix of young hungry players and older experienced players.

    If we're talking about the spine of the team I'd add Schar. He's been outstanding this season.

    Work still to be done on the first team and squad but anything Howe thinks is a step forward is good enough for me.
