Quiet week but this is reasonably interesting. Glad he's going to get games and he is going to be a real game changer in the BSP. Thoughts people?

Thought he would have stayed in the league! Had other offers believed to be from Aldershot and Leyton Orient!

I don't believe Leyton Orient offered for him, maybe Aldershot, I feel sad that we let him go but he does have bad injury problems,
Good luck to him, I think he should do well there at Luton, he still has it in him to do a great job, he should get them promoted.

Must admit I was surprised when I heard it was Luton (no disrespect intended). I also thought from reports he was in with a shout from an L1 club.

I think he is top quality in League 2 and should have got a League 2 club, sad for him, but maybe they could not offer first team football.

Might just have to pop to Stonebridge Road and Princes Park when Luton come to town.

All the best Danny think it'll only be a season in the BSP as Luton are obviously going for promotion in a big way this season.

These two will be strong at this level and Luton is a far bigger club than the Gills and will be back at a higher level soon. The problem with Spiller is that his record in recent years is damning. He hardly ever plays and last year he never managed 90 mins. If he has a 2 year contract without some element of "pay as you play" then he is a very lucky guy.

Any one know any latest on Simon King?

With the signings of Spiller and Richards to Luton, I hear they are in for another CB, just wondering what the chances are the hatters might go for the hat-trick (sorry, pun intended).

I think a lot of clubs will unfortunately be reluctant to take a gamble on Simon. Ideally he'd love to stay in the league but I don't think that would be entirely possible.
