As new, hardly used and there are 5150 of them available as a job lot. Looking forward to renewing cordial relationships next season guys - brilliant first half of the season for you fair play. You can't mess it up from where you are now can you? I can see us ready and waiting for you finishing around mid-Championship this campaign unless the "re-birth" has as a dramatic effect on the pitch as it's had in the stands. Whether or not by some miracle we do reach the playoffs, I'll still be watching your progress and lying in wait for some "red" visitors on this forum should we end up in the same division again. All the best.
Thanks, our promotion definitely is not home and host, we have a massive congested fixture list and a very small squad, injuries and suspensions could be just round the corner Most teams down to Midelsborough are very inconsistent, you could still easily make the play offs with a good run, but I hope you don't as it's been too long since we've been on an even playing field
You will be keeping those red seats now anyway won't you, seeing as Wales also use the ground for internationals? Ain't they the ones up the top part of the ground?
**** off Sparkey you welsh ****.... Thanks... I suppose. If we do get promoted then we probably will be playing each other next season, even if you do get into the play offs we both know you will bottle it As Lanny said our job isn't done yet! This month, especially towards the end, will be a busy one. If we beat Doncaster in the FA cup we'll have 3 games in 6 days. 1 will be against a premier league team, the other will see us 1 game from Wembley and the last is an important league game. Our squad is thin but what we lack in quantity we more than make up for in quality. All in all it's looking good but a lot can go wrong from now until May. If we are promoted though we'll be a much different team to the one you played when SOD was our "manager" *shivers* I would wish you luck but I want to play you again next season so.... here's hoping you finish 7th
Oldsparkey - It will be good to renew acquaintances but there is a lot of the season left yet and anything can happen to us or to you, especially now your clueless owner has been made to see sense over your home kit. I hope we can win the Championship in L1. Whilst we've been promoted several times in my lifetime, and from all divisions, I don't believe we've won a Championship title since 1955, so we're slightly overdue !
Old Sparkey, Well, well, I thought you had been carted away under that apoplectic rage of a red cloud from Vincent Tan. (see what can happen when you stand up to people!) Red v Blue next season, I hope so. We thought we might be passing each other for a while, but you can only have so much good luck in one season!
What will your club shop do with all the unsold red shirts? Put the Welsh badge on and flog them from barrows outside the Millennium? PS. Sparkey, any spare tickets for a Welshman by parentage ( Dad born in Llwnypia) for Wales v England. I missed out in the WRU ballot.
I sometimes get offers for them as the wife works with Rob Jones and Brwymar Williams if I hear of any will let you know. You might have to travel to collect them from a rugby club. Last lot we got from Llanelli, but it wouldn't surprise me if they've already gone. Will ask for you
Hi guys - thanks for the responses but I notice no offers for the seats. What's the matter with you lot - don't think you'd be able to fill them?............ Yup ROD, they're the new ones in the Ninian Stand extension that our glorious Mr. Tan built for us, It's bit high up there though - oxygen masks are provided for the top rows. They've been barely sat in though. The Europa Cup game between Real and Atletico was the only time I've seen the "redness" blotted out by bums on seats. As far as the oval ball questions are concerned, I'm afraid I've only ever been inside the Millenium to watch proper football and have no connections re tickets for the other code. Once again fellas (and believe it or not as you wish) I'd sincerely welcome us playing in the same division again to re-spark the forum stuff that we used to enjoy when we were previously - as well as thrashing your arses.
number16 - nothing would shock me right now pal. Bournemouth, Brentford and Rotherham came up last year - Bournemouth thrashed us at their place, Brentford thrashed us at our place, and we scraped an undeserved point from Rotherham again at our place. If we played you right now (at least before we switched back to blue), I reckon we'd struggle big time.
Apologies - I'd got a bit carried away and behind with my knowledge of the lower leagues due to our season in the Prem, I'll substitute Wolves in there instead of Bournemouth for you and they beat us as well at their place anyway. Still say Bournemouth are a credit to Eddie Howe and their performance against us was a tremendous team effort.
