................did anyone catch that programme last night hosted by the lovely Clare Grogan (one of Devs first schoolboy crushes).

I hated all the panellists but it was nice seeing some old footage of the 70's again. The Skids and Alex Harvey being a couple of my favourites.

A nice trip down memory lane, especially The Old Grey Whistle Test.

Next up the 80's. So who would be in that I wonder? The Associates, Altered Images, Big Country, Simple Minds, Jim Diamond, The Krankies??

Hope Eurthymics are not counted. Cannot abide Fannie Lennox and her **** singing. Besides Dave Stewart was the brains behind the music.

  6. Clare Grogan would still get it <ok>

The Rezillos and The Mary Chain (and their spin-off, the Scream) were the only Scottish bands in the eighties worth mentioning.

Unless you're a tranny that's into the Associates, right enough <ok>

He hung himself in a hotel room in Hawaii.

Shame. Liked The Skids and Big Country.

Big Country were great live, although the last time I saw them was 1987/88.

Can't think who would get into the 90's either to be honest.

No, I think you'll find they had more than one song. They indeed produced a fair few albums so I think I'm right in saying they did more than one song.
