..for Swansea going for City of culture 2017, result out tomorrow. Good luck Swansea, good for Wales in general! ...for all those homeless people subjected to freezing cold conditions tonight , and so called normal people struggling to heat their homes at this time of year. Not a political person but it horrifies me that in such a cold country, energy bills are so high, should be lowered significantly!
well well when did Swansea become a city then.......firstly congrats on the new status>>>>secondly congrats on winning the CITY(wow) of culture..................whom are they up against .......Dundee and western super mare??? masky im with ya>>>>>>keep the cold out this year, wear a bobble hat and a nose sock for the ultimate cosy evening in

Hull and culture - like ships in the night. It was probably the fish tank they have up there or the Steve Bruce effect
It was because there changing the name to Hull Tigers, it is so much more marketable now Gutted for Swansea, Thought they were the best out of the last 4.
Listening to radio 5 this morning, Hull celebrated like they'd won the next World cup, Olympics, and been given the lotto numbers for Saturday. We stayed in a hotel up there for our game this season and the 'what's on in Hull' brochure in the room pointed out their main shopping highlight as a "very large Tesco's" I live in Newport and even we don't get excited about big Tescos (even though ours is massive.......) Hull, Dundee and Leicester. In that company losing has to feel like a bit of a kick in the bollocks. *Serious bit* It is actually a pity for Wales that Swansea didn't win, anything that increases our profile nationally and world wide has to be a good thing.
Hopefully, the work done to get to where they did and the momentum will encourage the authorities to redevelop anyway. My greatest regret is to look at High Street now.....I remember when it had a great feel about it....now it looks like a rejected slum.
slumsea lost out 2 hull>>>>>>>>>anyway well done rod the better man won>>> phil im as fit as a fiddle thanks 2the ganja >>>>>>but surely this waste is coming out of the liposuction hospital based in florida keys...........one lump had a taco bell burritos still alive and kicking in it.
I've lived in a few places overseas and though I love Swansea it has never been a hotbed of culture has it? But bloody Hull?
