Just watched the match.I know many people love the European game and the superior technique of players etc. But that was embarrassing!!! So much diving, play acting and chasing the ref (yes he was crap). Ruined the match, everyone involved should be ashamed. Terrible advert for football
Those last forty minutes or so were an embarrassment to football. Disgraceful diving, Ronaldo could have had another red card for lashing out and two or three yellow cards, punches and a disgusting attitude to a referee (who admittedly didn't help the situation by giving a free kick if you stood next to someone).
Even worse is it is not the first time I've seen it happen this season. It is a very regular occurrence, particularly where Real Madrid are involved. This sort of behaviour has to be kicked out of the game. Yes it gives TV something to talk about but it is terrible to watch and equally bad precedent to set for future players.
