JDG has overcome his injury and is back in the starting line up against Spain tonight with Vorm on the bench.

Been itching for this game all day and should be a cracker <cheers>

    Spain 2-0 for me.

    8:00p.m. kick off.

Can't call this one - two good teams on their day.

JDG deserves our respect and applause - starting for Holland against the World Champs - not many players in the Prem can say that. He is the first Swansea player to start a game in the World Cup finals since when - 1958?

I just posted a similar thing on the other thread YJ. It's no surprise that one of the world's top coaches knows more than some on here. Hope he takes his chance. <ok>

Technically he isn't our player <whistle>

But his performances during the second half of the season more than justify his inclusion.

I have no expectations for this game: the looser will most likely have to play Brazil in the next round. And loose.
    I'm sure it'll be a draw,1-1?, after a tactical match.
BTW, I was disappointed with the cam-mex game. Hoped for fireworks, but they weren't able...

You're technically right Valley. But he's also played here for two seasons and it's those performances playing for us that got him a spot.

Technically .... Ki is not Sunderland's player either, but he has been listed as playing for them. So, I hear what you say, but apparently possession is 9/10's. So ... today he's a Jack in my book.

Both sides have enough talented players to make this one a great game but like all 1st games they tend to be edgy and tense affairs , 2- 1 Spain .They still have that extra quality for me .

Snijder should have scored there. Very poor shot.

Holland almost scored from a header won by guess who? He's doing OK right now. Lots of good defensive work from him.

Fair play, De Guzman has won two headers and taken a Spanish player out. Not looking out of place at all.

Thank you for punting with your heart. You'll be wrong, as I always am for the same offence...
