A simple list that should be put into the Southampton code of conduct given to new signings. These can go under "Not acceptable" Step 1: Promise you will stay then demand a move as soon as you play for your country (Lallana) Step 2: Leave a club that has brought you up from the academy and has given you a chance in the first team in the top division, only to then demand a move and then make fun of the club. Claiming the club could never fulfil your ambitions after one years of football is not always a wise thing either. (Chambers and Shaw) Step 3: Claim your head is already at another club in an interview. (Lovren) Step 4: Say repeatedly you will wait to see who we invest in the club before making a decision, only to then take to twitter and slate the club that pays your ridiculous wages when the Chairman says you are not for sale (pretty sure every chairman and manager says this when they have interest in a player) (Schneiderlin) Step 5: Head-butt a team-mate in training, go out on loan, then refuse to return for preseason training. (Osvaldo) This can be added to the "Acceptable" List. Step 1: Commit to the club for life as soon as signing. (Matt le Tis,) Step 2: Play your heart out for the Shirt, never miss a penalty, rally the troops, do not cause a fuss with the newspapers, leave with elegance and then write an honest letter to the fans. Step 3: Play your heart out for the shirt for the people cheering you on, not one or two muppets who shout negative comments. (Guly do Prado) Step 4: Win over the crowd with crazy facial expressions and impressive moments when you accidently throw a bottle at them (Boruc) Other Steps are welcome. (This list has not been caused by an angry saint’s fan getting drunk by himself on a work night, realising that no-one who he pays a yearly season ticket to watch wants to actually play for us)
