I'm really looking forward to seeing these ****ers relegated. I remember a couple of years ago, when we beat them 2-1 at home, and I caught a brief interview with one of their fans on Football Focus or summat. He said "We shouldn't be getting beaten by the likes of Hull City", and I remember thinking 'You cheeky twat - you were in League One three years ago! Who do you think you are - Real Madrid?!' And then last season, when they finished 8th AND reached a cup final, but their fans were baying for the head of Claude Puel, and got it. I think it proved they're a club who got a bit too big for their boots. Definitely time they were relegated - it might teach them something about humility! Plus, it might finally see Mark Hughes flung off that managerial merry-go-round, along with Pardew.
Weren’t they one of the (many) models of excellence in how to run a club we were supposed to gaze upon in envy?
One Sarfampton fan ! We don't have any boots to wear, maybe not even any socks. Hope they stay up myself...always been a progressive club, just not enough money flowing their way. Brilliant team when " I wanna play on the wing where the sun is shining" Le Tiss was around.
Why no one comes in with a big offer for Sean Dyche, I don't know. Is he not exotic enough for some of them ambitious clubs? Marco Silva hasn't come anywhere near what Dyche has shown, but people seem to see, well something I don't. And as for Pardew, Hughes, Sherwood etc. Do clubs even look at their records?
