Our game is definitely the biggest of the weekend with two proper footballing teams both in form, the #manifesto up against the #dossier in the greatest philosophical battle since Camus v Sartre.

  4. We really need to get the win in this tough game. Need to make sure we close that gap, especially with Man City up next in the league were we are likely to drop points.

Should we lose, then top 4 is over? Agreed?

A real must win game if ever there was one. It is not that gap of 5 points, which by itself is not too bad. It is the number of teams ahead of us all in reasonable form. Also Southampton are one of those. A draw will see us lose ground.

Teams around us have difficult fixtures too, a win would be monumental and the momentum would definitely be with us if it isn't already. Easier said than done though, I expect Balo, Sterling and Sturridge all to start, that should give their defence plenty to think about. Maybe bring in Lovren and push Can in to CM again.

Sturridge needs to get rid of his sulkiness and slugishness and rip them to shreds

Have to beat soton. If not, then we won't get top 4. They have easier fixtures than us and don't have cup distractions.

Of the top 8, I have Chelsea and City winning. These do not affect us anyway.

I think Arsenal and Spurs will win their matches. The mancs will struggle against the Swans and will lose at least 2 points.

We might reduce the gap to top 4 to 4 points.

Should be a good tactical battle this one. Wouldn't want to call it.

Can't wait for this game, should be a cracker <ok> How many of our former players do you think we will see? I imagine Lallana will play some part and Lovren seems to be coming off the bench a bit recently?
