Our win yesterday was vital. Udders dead and buried. Bookies already paying out on their relegation.
    Fulham 5 points behind.
Looking up, 3 teams (including southampton) within 2 points. Avoiding defeat first and foremost a win would be superb.
Squeaky bum time for a few teams.

Saints are not going down. We're unbeaten in 2019. We will pull away IMO as we have shown huge improvement under Hassenhuttl. You'll be seeing a completely different Saints to the one that turned up at your place. And good luck containing Redmond - he's scored 6 goals in 10 games under Hassenhuttl.

<wah>Redmond was red hot when he was a Norwich player, always turned up against us, rate him highly! :emoticon-0103-cool:

He's been class recently. He's been playing centrally lately and works a treat as he finds space between the midfield and defence and then drives towards goal. That's how he scored yesterday.

Is that donkey centre half still in your side. The one who got the assist?

Vestergaard is still in the side but he's improved as well. He's been solid ever since that cock up.

Our likely line up will be:

    McCarthy
    Bednarek Vestergaard Yoshida
    Valery Ward-Prowse Hojbjerg Romeu Bertrand
    Redmond Ings/Long

Very hard to predict our line up.

Vestegaard im sure is going to be targetted.

    Hope Ings doesnt play.

Valery to be targeted as well. Had to be subbed at ours otherwise he would have seen red.

hope there's not much tinkering by Colin, but worried their 5 man midfield will swamp us if we go with 4.

It was 4 yesterday but not a Dave Jones style 4.

Im pretty certain we will see Niasse an Reid as attackers.

The midfield selection is going to be interesting.

Saw the formation listed as 442. We were playing against the same formation that Bournemouth played. Just wondering how that will fare against a 352 or 451.

I'm hoping we will see Niasse and Reid Hilts.

I think those results are from a Southampton perspective. We beat them 1.0 in December and April 2014 but they are shown as losses.

That being the case the 1965 result shows a W so they must have beaten us 5.3. I wasn't there so don't know for sure. Anyone else with a long enough memory?
