Not overly fussed about the U21s it's essentially the reserves with some young players. It's the under 18s that have no overage players so it's always good to keep up to date with them.
The u21 will always be chopped and changed, as you say we should take the u18 really seriously and try to win something
Both teams leak a few goals...this seems to be the Southampton way We seem to produce exciting play going forward...have to work on the defence. Good to come back from 3.0...shows character and spirit.
I'm glad we play as positively as we do. Being assured defensively will just happen in time with good players, good coaching and match practise. I'd much rather produce ball-players, goalscorers and technical wizards than cloggers and chasers. Watch out for Ryan Seager, the kid really knows where the onion bag is.
U21s are a formal league too now! We can win something there too! Rule is 3 overage players (plus goalkeeper).
