On Sky, every PL club has announced prices for next season except us truly. We were late last year as well weren't we? Doesn't directly affect me as I work every other Saturday, but surely the sums must have been done by now. There was sufficient warning that we were likely to be a PL club in 2012/3. Perhaps they are going to be really cheap thud (that was me laughing my head off).
We do things the Southampton Way. Doesn't SFC's financial year end in July? If so, that's when I expect the season tickets to be released.
The 'window of opportunity' as it were for selling and snapping up the STs is rather limited - putting them on sale from the end of June / beginning of July to mid August is roughly 6-7 weeks. If they went on sale from the end of May that is almost 2.5 months for people to sort their finances out, prioritise their other life obligations and scrape together the required amount. I feel we could be losing out on potentially more sales. Will be interesting to see if there is any sort of instalment/financeplan to be provided.
We really won't. I know of about 20-30 that are renewing now we're back in the prem. 3 buying boxes and another host of companies buying corporate season tickets. Still up in arms about what i'm going to be doing.
Our Reading supporting friends managed to renew their season tickets dirt cheap in an early renewal system they have going. Right now they have Premier League tickets at Championship prices. We used to run a similar system of early renewals under Lowe, but back then we didn't have to worry about promotions because we were ****. I expect Reading have lost out on a fair bit of money because of that.
Anyone who moans that they don't get much window to get finances together for an ST should sort themselves out. You should put the money by, like any sensible human being would. If someone wants a ST and they can afford it, then they will get one.

A fair chance instalments may get re-introduced this season. The main reason for them being scrapped was abuse from some quarters who took out the plan, made one payment, got there ticket book and cancelled the direct debit. Plenty has changed since that 1st season. More full houses mean you can't just get in and sit where you like. The newly installed ticketing system too should replace the old ticket books.
Instalments were available last season, a deposit of £220 then 3 monthly payments for the rest of the money, You only got the first 8 tickets until the full balance was paid, they then sent out the remaining tickets.
I may have missed something but can't work out if their prices are for renewals or new purchasers. Or perhaps both.
