Match Day Thread Southampton Nil vs Man City, Saturday 10th May. 3.00pm probably, but who ****ing cares?

Good luck anyone going to this. City have been off the pace all season. Still have an FA Cup final to look forward to though.
I seem to remember we had quite a good record against them lot under Ralph (remember him?). That was ages ago though. Currently, we're **** and we're going down. Absolutely no chance we show any fight at all this Saturday.
No idea what our GD is, can't be arsed to look tbh. It's terrible, of course, like everything else this season; and it's about to get worse

Actually thinking about it, we should have sorted a happy clapper thread, and a miserable bastard thread years ago.

 

This season the miserable bastard freds would have been 20 pagers while the happy clapper ones wouldn't have gone past 2.

 

Trouble is if we did a miserable bastard thread you'd be the only one on it.

 

Can we have a thread for people angry during games, but otherwise quite chilled about things?

 

Normally I would think that would be a good Idea. After this season I think it would hardly be used. After recent moods we might be able to revive it when it's on about page 106.

Everyone is beating us this season. But we know you, you don't want to be like everyone else. You want to be an individual!

You're season is dribbling out to a probable Champions League place. Depending on results on Saturday, your last couple of games could be real snooze fests. No one wants the hero of their story to romp through without a challenge, they want action right up until the final frame! Luckily for you, you've got a chance to makes those final games of the season interesting.

So here's the deal. Lose to us. One-nil off the ref's backside, if you like, with unlucky shots going all round our goal. Just imagine it. The piquant taste of jeopardy. A touch of pep for Pep.
