Absolutely no different to a contactless payment debit card other than the fact you slap it around your wrist.
Terrible idea, not for me, imagine if all retailers want their own versions of these? You'd have wrist bands up to your arm pits. looks horrible too.
True, but could also be a case of if children are going down wanting something then this wristband allows them to buy something without using money? obviously a pin included Think if you had an overall one it would work better, however as said by Disco, a contactless card would probably work for that. Think it could work for kids though
The article say's it's contactless mate. Same technology I presume so no pin required. Would be the same as giving them a debit card! It's a nice marketing idea as people love a gadget, techy gimmick lovers. I wouldn't see the point in it myself.
