    Southampton fan in peace.

Where do Arsenal fans see Walcott's future? There's been much talk in press about him leaving Arsenal although some of the stories are far fetched (transfer to Barcelona etc). Do you guys think he has a future at The Emirates or do you think he has been given too many chances and it's time to move on for him? In my opinion, he has never had the consitency as sometimes he's brilliant and other times he's ineffective. Also, injury problems may have hampered his progress aswell. Now with Gervinho on the scene, who looks to be a player of real quality, are Theo's chances getting slimmer?

Also, how do you guys rate Oxlade-Chamberlain? He seems to have gone from strength to strength since you guys bought him. I hope to see him play a more central role though, perhaps alongside Wilshere. Those two in midfield together, should tear it up for both Arsenal and England in years to come - it's certainly an exciting prospect anyway!

Good luck for the season - hope to meet you in the Premiership in not too long!
We've yet to visit the impressive Emirates stadium so that's something to look forward to!

Very underrated by the media and some fans. He does a really effective job at Arsenal. Yes sometimes he goes missing in some games, but name me a top player who doesn't.

I'm with Jayram, I hope he makes the grade as a striker. I think he would relish the role.

the problem is - as a winger he cannot deliver crosses. When he can cut inside he frightens defenders.

Thanks for your comments. It makes sense for Walcott to play on the left and cut inside on to his right-foot, could be devasting in that position. I reckon you boys should go in for Adam Johnson if he continues to bench warm at Man City. He does exactly the same on the right-wing. You'd have goals coming in all over the place then! Mind you, Gervinho's useful on his left foot anyway.
