How much per annum is the average crack habit? Need something to reassure me a season ticket is the best thing to do with my disposable income
It's probably worked pretty well, no point doing a big lead up/reveal for what is more or less a continuation of last year's prices, and caught all the Twitter moaners on the hop. (or we could have secretly sold everyone already, I dunno)
It is obvious really, we are guaranteed a place in the Premier League next Season, that's surely enough to get on with it. Conspiracy theorists will have a field day, but are just clutching at straws. You have to trust the people at the top to ensure we get a good deal for our money. Players will go out, new ones will come in, even a Managerial change could happen, how it will pan out, who knows? That's football for you, it's a funny old game.
Bit of an own goal by Saints. I suspect they won't have the same number of renewals as last season & it could drop quite a bit. By having a Season Ticket, you are supposed to be both saving money & have some perks. Now you are saving little money and got bugger all perks. Plus if you miss a couple of games (which is quite likely considering TV moving kick offs), you lose out. Not worked it out, but doesn't feel like the club will make a huge amount of money out of these price rises either. So why bother when other forms of income SHOULD be increasing to compensate? We only sell out 7 or so home games a season currently, so there will be empty spaces for the remaining 12 games. There is not a waiting list for Season tickets, so none of yesterday's prices make sense to me. Would have gained more positive feedback from fans if they had frozen prices, or at least been a bit more inventive with their Season ticket package. I mean, 50% off a stadium tour, wow. I think Saints have got a worse ticketing strategy than when Lowe was in charge.... and that's saying something.
I honestly have not made up my mind yet. Other factors in play, got myself block booked in the Autumn to do a Move in America. Plus the impending court case of course. It's all go.
