On our way back from the match we got diverted off the motorway due to a "serious accident". I have never seen as many blue lights flashing from police cars, ambulances and fire engines along with a air ambulance. Apparently it was a South Shields minibus carrying supporters back from Telford that had overturned, with children on board. Hoping and praying for everyone involved

I don't know a lot, but apparently a car in the outside lane was slowing down for no reason, causing a black car to break behind, who crashed into the central reservation then hit the mini bus causing it to roll a few times. I believe that two were airlifted to hospital in Leeds and the rest taken to York hospital. No one seems to have been seriously injured though
A report that I've just read suggests that there are/were seven with serious injuries . . . . hopefully not too serious, of course
