Why is it that the 'who dares wins' brigade were scared **** less in south Armagh? Granted ,they will face Helmem province and the likes of down town Bagdad but when it comes to Armagh they are scared ****less. Why is this?????
I'm sure they get scared in Afghanistan and Iraq too. It's only natural to be so when you're faced with death.

People do get scared in times of confrontation, but not the mighty IRA. No Siree.......... In 1942, the IRA launched an armed campaign in Northern Ireland. Let me see now, 1942, oh yes, when the men were away doing real fighting. Those folk singing rebels eh? Marvellous.
theirs a pub in hereford where they all drink next to the cathedral anyone tries it on in their quickly finds themselves on the floor outside........................
"Hello, Is Adolf there please.....yes. I'll hold.............Hello Adolf, Its Nev......Neville...........Neville Chamberlain...........Prime Minister............Britain......Yeah, the one above France.....Not happy about all this Poland stuff old chap..... You looking for a scuff.....You are busy right now?..............with what?.....................Russia?......Russia?........well ok, just as soon as you have sorted out your quarrel with them, we are going to have ourselves a little war ok?............good, send me a text when you are ready"
But surely if they held on till '42 they could've waited another couple of years. It's almost as though they kicked off when they knew it would be easier. But no, of course not. Not the brave IRA, they'd want to fight fairly or not at all. Seriously though, grievances don't necessarily have to lead to violence. Not in a civilised society.
Honestly Jip, you Brits are the biggest hypocrites in the world. At least Ireland has a grievience. Britain made stuff up to invade Iraq, a war that led to hundreds of thousands of deaths. I suppose it's only really civilised society when your dropping bombs from god knows how many feet. Thems the real heroes them boys eh
"From a Brit, probably the starters of the most wars since the Romans" (ooh, and a hand in the face smiley! Ouch!. You guys....) Actually this comment is fascinating, can you provide some more details, stats etc? Otherwise people might think that you're just mouthing off. Cheers. Rebel(my neighbours dogs name btw), ref, 1942. Who were the IRA fighting? Air Raid Wardens or the mighty Home Guard? "Don't tell them your name Pike"
"At least Ireland has a grievience." And what the **** can that be, in this day and age? Once. But now?
