Sounds like there is a rift between the players and staff.

According to BBC there is a rift between players and within staff over TP.

    Doesn't sound good

I don't understand it, he has gone - it no longer matters. The payers should be glad that they have all had a fresh start and been given the opportunity to play football rather than be berated with instructions from the side line and used like a chess piece.

The irony that the man no longer has anything to do with the club yet is "allegedly" still affecting the players - it's ludicrous !

Also the long haired one (can't remember name) on final score said:
"Pulis has made average players millionaires. I went to their training ground and saw Rolls Royces and Bentleys parked outside. And I think that is a disgrace"

Doesn't sound like TP was liked by people on TV either :O

It has often been commented that alot of "Pulis" type players would not have made the squad of many other prem teams and arguably alot of championship teams, but this has all been said before. We all need to move on and focus on improving the clubs profile.

I couldn't agree more Smithers, it seems now that all we need to do on the pitch is find the net more often, which will hopefully be sorted come the next window, we have a half decent team, yes we need to offload a few that don't fit the new profile but we are making progress on the pitch we are at least creating chances and having some possession. Up the Potters!!

Agree JM and Smithers but if we are not able to solve our lack of goals until January then we could be in real problems by then Perhaps the plus point is since Walters can not score at least he shouldnt get any OG's

    SIS,

We are bound to get some goals there will always be chances from set plays and the midfield have found the net, I thought we were getting a new striker joining us in January and Mr Hughes may be able to teach the strikers what to do with the ball now that they are getting it played up to them but he's got to undo the previous work whereby they were mostly unemployed. <whistle>

Wish I had your confidence JM but 4 in 7 (( PL ) doesnt actually inspire Yes others are having the same problem but they are the ones down in the danger zone and we are being outscored by teams who are "inferior" to us in terms of PL tenure and recent experience Maybe contracts need to be amended and a bonus added for scoring although Walters may then do it at the wrong end again

Separately I wonder why the board is so quiet with so little after match comment Hope the regulars are ok

We have been here before with a poor goal record and even though we have moved on to a more flowing type of football, we are not leaking goals. The possession stats are key for me, because the more we keep the ball, the more opportunity we have to create a chance.

In relation to converting the chances, we need more zip and desire in front of goal. Walters and Ethrington have not delivered in the first 7 prem games and for me its time to make a change and give someone else a chance. I like the thought of Ireland playing more regularily and would like to see Pennant get a better run, I think this combo will alow us to be postitive whilst in possesion.

    Smithers,

I think Mr Hughes will do what he can with what he's got but push for a freshen up and yard sale when he can.
