But it is understood he will not consider that option. Resignation could leave him open to a charge of breach of contract as he still has 20 months left on his agreement with Hull." I think its getting towards '5hit or bust' time for Pearson and Leicester.
Stand firm Papa Allam! Stealing you're complete management team must be worth more than £1m. Especially when we had to pay £700k for Pearson when L£IC£ST£R wanted rid! Apparently they were bored of the low scoring, defensive performance
If Pearson won't resign I imagine he's pretty worried now and wondering whether he made the right decision. If Leicester walk away he will have gone from a having a good job with his own promising young team to the football wilderness.
@StringerSportIan Stringer The Pearson to #lcfc move looks to be heading towards a positive conclusion for Leicester. A deal's being worked on now, both parties keen
Twitchy - Nah Just putting pressure though the media on that head the ball who owns your club - You see the thing is, if they do walk away there is absolutly no benefit to your club. You will still have to get a new manager and its going to cost you money to pay two managers and the compo to the club that you take your new manager off
I imagine Mr Allam is absolutely s***ting himself at the intense pressure being exerted by the mighty Leicester Mercury. Read the articles, there's no indication that anyone's remotely worried at our club.
All the expert opinion by supporters of both sides isn't worth a thing. The fact is that we know nothing about the negotiating tactics of either club. The only relevant thing in my opinion is that Mr Allam is standing his ground. He's not stupid, he has plenty of expert legal advice so I'm assuming he feels he's on pretty steady ground.
Fair play to this being banter between us and Hull, but the Leeds fans.. oh dear, still living in 2001 and laughing from last weeks' win over us - it took them long enough to beat us, so we'll call it 'a win, because the law of averages says you'd have beaten us again one day'.
Except it'd stop clubs in future thinking we're here to be pushed around with them getting people by making offers that aren't good enough. Does the first reply to this thread not give you a clue?
Haha !! i love it , "what is TWS" !!!!! gotta agree though , the only club thats should be concerned is our own as regardless of what NP does , we still need a manager to replace him . Also , the cleanest option for our club would be to agree terms with Leicester quite quickly . I dont think its any more that cutting ur nose off to spite ur face on Allams part to drag this out. Popular it may be here , but it wont change anything at our end , only delay the inevitable .
