LadyRL is having a big 40th bash soon. Its gonna be outside in a couple of marquees with a dance floor between them. Due to my well developed multi-tasking skills I have - along with many other important jobs - been tasked with compiling a playlist for the night which needs to stretch to about eight hours.

The party is based around being a rave from the good old days - problem is although I might recognise lots of the tunes from those good old days I often don`t remember what they are called due to being high on life at the time. Obviously this makes it difficult to download and compile the stuff. I`ve got stuck at around the four hours mark so far.

So, chuck me some names and titles please ?

Go on, you know you`re mad for it.

I'm maybe a bit younger than you - you looking for early 90's Old Skool 'No Limit' type stuff (it's funny calling it old skool now, since all the stuff I liked at the time is technically now also old skool) - or the actual good late 90's stuff? :bandit:

Anyway, kids these days don't know what they are missing...

Don't be tempted by any ****ey vocal mixes of this, original instrumental-only club tune is the only one that works (women ruined Trance circa 2000, by getting vocals added to ****ing everything)

Oh and here's some tunes I like which I think only really work with vocals:

I've a hard-on for dark tunes, and I rarely go for remixes - but original video for this song smells of cheese and this is a much better mix.

oh and last but not least, the National Anthem of Clubbers, which must be played as the very last song before you chuck everyone out:

You don't half talk some pish mick.

First you post Da Hool - Love Parade, then have the cheek to claim wummin vocalists ruined trance? **** off. That song is borderline happy hardcore you gimp.

PS: The original 1998 and Greece 2000 are over-rated ****e.

Get back to yer Bob Marley ya hippie. Meet her at the Love Parade is a classic, and even if it was happy hardcore (which it is not) what's your point? I didn't claim all those tunes belong to any particular category.
