Let's be brutally honest. We will never get promoted on this form. We are only where we are today because of the miraculous 7 home wins in a row, but sooner or later that is going to fail.
The sooner he gets a grip and rings the changes the better. Is it a coincidence that Whiiting hasn't scored for weeks?
There are players champing at the bit for their chance. They cannot do any worse than lose can they?

Very true Xsnaggs but wholesale change is a big risk and may not be the answer.

In the short term, should Marshall continue or should Lewis have his chance, McNuggs has had a break should he come in for Taylor or Connolly - or rest Hudson who only needs one more yellow for a suspension and put Connolly in the middle?

Midfield is more complex with only Whitts pencilled in as an obvious starter. I agree with Sparkey that Gunnar should now start in place of Cowie but perhaps we need a solid 3 in the middle to help protect the back 4. Should Kiss be given a chance or play Cowie with Whitts and Gunnar or does McPhail come back into play after 70minutes for the Dev Squad on Monday?

Noone has to start out wide as the most positive element of the last 3 games but then do we play with 2 wide men or just one with one of the 2 forward players in a more withdrawn role. Can Kimbo and/or Frei fit in. I would bench them both for now. I would not play Conway over Noone as long as Noone shows his good form.

Mason can do the withdrawn role although he looked like the game passed him by a bit at Bolton - don't know about last night. Do we give Gestede a start and HH a rest. To me HH has looked tired lately so I would start with Rudy. If Velikonja gets his chance where do we play him? He is not a target player so alongside HH or Rudy is the option but then Mason would be left out.

    Over to you Malky.

To let a team like charlton score 5 past us is unforgivable, basically charlton are a league 1 outfit, who couldnt beat an egg before last nights debacle. Disappointed is an understatement. If you look at it we lost a 2 goal lead at both Charlton and Palarse, plus we were 1 up at Bolton and managed to lose the lot, sorry gents but you have to question the tactics.

But the point is we haven't managed to string 7 wins together have we? We win two then lose one or two then win another two. We cant even manage 2 wins 2 draws two wins.
The question is are the away losses the aberation and the home wins the real team, or are the away losses the real team and the away wins a lucky run that is about to go tits-up against two good visiting teams?
