Stop shopping in the bargain basement for managers. Pull your fingers out of your arse and offer Martin O'Neill the terms he wants.

The appointment of any other manager is a backwards step.

Hughton: Wouldn't be too distraught, but no real pedigree for building a promotion winning team. Anyone could have got that Newcastle team promoted.

Di Matteo: Pretty much the same reasons as stated above.

Mackay: Garbage, DJ was a million times better, and he wasn't good enough either.

Davies: Get that poisonous little **** away from my ****ing football club! As stated before, would gleefully remove any sort of passion not drummed out of them by DJ.

Shearer: Listen to the twat on MOTD, he doesn't understand much about football, the proverbial barge pole comes to mind.

And that's about it, none of them are good enough to achieve promotion with this club.

Whoever we do get in (I'm not holding out much hope, BTW), sort it out, and quickly!
 
Luke, I think your in for disappointment then. Here's 3 more names to consider who I understand are being considered but I dont hink your gonna like it if your not impressed by the above list.

Guys, is there any news whatsoever on your nwxt manager the silence is defening. hope you get it sorted to. the longer it goes on the harder it will be for the new man to get you ready for the start of the season. i am sure the right man will be found. Zola anybody.
 
Zola would be a good-un but hasnt even been mentioned, saying that neither had Shearer until today. Watch what happens, we'll end up with Joe Fecking Kinnear!!!
 
City i hope for your sake you dont. The right man is out there. Whether he is the one you really want or not give him time and back him. Look at rogers. Some cardiff fans took the p*ss, but it worked. so back him and you never know. Unless of course it is Joe Kinnear.

I know I'm in for disappointment, but I'm used to it these days.

Just wish the board would show a bit of ambition for a change and sign up O'Neill.

I don't care how much money he wants, he's worth it, and IMHO the only manager good enough to get us where we want to be.
 
Luke....Hughton showed that he could deal with the Prem with the same bunch of players he took up far better than the others have done at Newcastle...... until he got shafted...he will do me. O'Neil is never coming here. Only a top 8 club in England would do him.
