Absolutely gutted, he completes out midfield, without him we have to watch Meyler run around like a headless chicken as he runs aimlessly into an opponent and fouls them.
Why all this Thudd bashing? Yes he will never bust a gut to close the other team down, we knew this from the start, at times this season he has been extra lazy and in general, just ****. But in the last 3/4 games he has picked himself up and has started to become the nucleus of our team again. I'm not surprised he would drop Meyler for Diame, Meyler is ****.
just a knock to the knee, not too bad! Thank fook!! http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/20/mohamed-diame-injury-setback-hull-city?
Hang on, a knock to his knee on Monday? He was at the signing on Tuesday & someone put up that he was late because he was doing extra training. Is this an SB trick & he'll be on the bench shock?
Hardly out again mind. IMO, it would have been madness to think about him in this game or Stoke. I would set the Sunderland game as a target for the return of Mo. We dont need to take any risks at this stage of the season. So same starting 11 and same subs from Villa game for the dramas then. imo.
Bruce also told us that N'doye was in Paris and wouldn't feature against Man City, but he managed to come on as a sub. I wouldn't rule it out, although if he has actually aggravated it then don't expect to see him.
I'm pretty sure Bruce described N'Doye's chances as "very unlikely", or something to that effect. Usually when Bruce says something he means it.
Probably Bruce's mismanagement more than anything. He admitted mismanaging injuries himself in his Villa preview so whoever dismisses it as bollocks must also admit that Brucey is a lying toerag.
