Been away since 6th May, currently in Muxia in Galicia, magnificent location 30 odd kilometres north of Finistere, white sandy beaches, forests of eucalyptus, in fact it's how the West of Ireland, could be if only it was warmer and the fish dishes are far superior, as is the wine....
Also discovered that this part of Galicia forms part of the Camino de Santiago even though it's a fair distance beyond Santiago de Compostela, apparently a lot of pilgrims once they reach Santiago continue on to Finistere in what was World's End in the time of St James....
It is a lovely part of Spain....

Thanks for your commentary. Sounds like a wonderful place to spend a few weeks as 2024 was our last short trip to Fort Pierce, Florida. We used to be Canadian Snowbirds down there for 6 years taking care of a 90 year old female retired Canadian naval military intelligence officer (from Cuban missile crisis era, tracking Soviet subs in Nova Scotia).
