    Four people have been arrested after disorder broke out in Bedford following England's defeat to Italy in Euro 2012.

    About 150 England fans headed to The Embankment after the game and targeted Italian fans, who had formed a cavalcade of vehicles to celebrate.

    Some of the vehicles were damaged and one person was attacked but not seriously hurt, police said.

    Officers were forced to close the High Street and The Embankment and are reviewing CCTV.

    About 1,200 England fans had watched the Kiev game at bars on the High Street, with the vast majority heading home after the game, police added.

    I remember yooro 96 the same thing happened. German cars were flipped, turned upside down and i'd like to take a minute just sit right there i'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called bel air.

    That evening i stopped some spanish guys from getting a kicking and a taig bastard..... Who was an English supporting Unionist from Belfast getting his face smashed.

    I also helped an old lady cross the road and rescued a cat from a tree....

    True story.... Apart fae the old lady and cat. I should have been a guardian angel.

    I have it on good authority the people causing trouble were Celtic and Irish fans who rallied to the England cause after reading my thread on this forum.

    With this in mind I wish to apologise to any foreign **** who had property damaged or were victims of physical harm.

    In future I shall refrain from inviting those green ****ers to support England<ok>
